Danny Knowles, 65, of Smithville died Monday at his residence.

He was a member of the Northside Church of Christ and owner of Danny Knowles and Daughters Nursery.

The funeral was held Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home.

Burness Lyons officiated with burial following in DeKalb Memorial Gardens.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman Aaron and Mary Frances Cantrell Knowles; two brothers, Laney Knowles and Eddie Knowles; and a sister, Judy Knowles Carr. Survivors include his wife, Kathy Brown Knowles of Smithville. Two beloved daughters, Danielle Lynn Knowles and Mary Frances Knowles both of Smithville. One brother, Rick and Angie Knowles of Smithville. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Special niece, Rosie Arnold of Smithville. Special cousins Ricky and Lisa Atnip. Dearest friend, Faye Jennings of Smithville. Church brothers and sisters.

Pallbearers included; Ricky Atnip, Dustin Knowles, Lee Fisk, Steve Officer, Lonnie Laxton, and Jim Judkins.

Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, was in charge of the arrangements.
