Funeral services for Dean “Buddy” Emberton, 62, of Smithville were held April 10 at chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro.Keith Huling officiated, with burial following at Keltonburg Cemetery.
He passed away April 8 at St. Thomas Hospital West in Nashville.
He was a retired factory worker and affliated with the Pentecostal Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin Dean and Claudia Avo Trapp Emberton; brother, Henry Jackson Emberton.
He is survived by his wife, Dianne Emberton of Smithville; two daughters, Deanna (Kevin) Jones of Smithville and Darla Emberton of Murfreesboro; two grandchildren: one sister, Brenda Steele of South Carolina; and several nephews and one niece survive.
Pallbearers included; Alfred Pedigo, Ronnie Brown,Tommy Barber, Derrick Steele, Terry and Steven Emberton.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of arrangements.
