Deloris Darnell Hutchings, age 51, of Smithville passed away at her residence Saturday August 8, 2020.
She was born January 4, 1969 to her parents Edward "Buck" and Janie Barnes Hutchings. She worked at Prospect and was a homemaker, was also affiliated with The Freewill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her twin brother, Jamey Douglas Hutchings; grandparents, Everett and Louise Hutchings and Herman and Vella Barnes; many aunts and uncles also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her parents, Edward "Buck" and Janie Hutchings of Smithville; brothers, Donathan (Kelly) Hutchings of AL, and Jonathan (Tina) Hutchings of McMinnville; sister Janet (Joey) Nichols of Celina; niece and special caregiver, Kelly (John) Licht of McMinnville; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts and uncles and many friends also survive.
Funeral service was held Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale, Bro. Donald Haggard and Bro. Wendell Judkins officiating. Burial followed in Whorton Springs Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Brandon Hutchings, Dustin Hutchings, Keith Hutchings, Cole Hutchings, Joey Nicols and John Licht. Honorary pallbearers included Tim Cope, Paul Hutchings, Zaden Licht and Jonathan Hutchings.
