Golden

Desstanny “Sis” June Veronica Golden, age 40, of Lawrenceburg passed away July 18, 2018 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia.

She was an avid reader and loved life where ever it took her. Because of her kind heart and positive outlook, she made many friends along the way. Those who knew her enjoyed her free spirit and vast literary knowledge. She was always eager to tag along or jump right in to help.

She was preceeded in death by her grandparents John and Roseanna Morris and Geneva Golden; her parents Tony Golden Sr and Kelly J Morris Barger; and her sister, Faith Golden.

She is survived by two sons, Christopher Golden and Shaun McCafferty; two sisters, Melanie Golden Lovett, Jenny Gilliland; one brother Tony Golden Jr.;step father Ron Barger; three nieces and six nephews; special friend Brandon Mofield; along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family has chosen a direct cremation.

A memorial service will be held at Lighthouse Ministries TN-20 Summertown, TN on July 28 at 2pm.

Those that wish may gather with family after the memorial, at 1252 Turnpike Rd in Summertown, Tn. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to help with the cost. Donation can be made at the time of the memorial services.
