Donald Wayne Cantrell, age 71, of Smithville passed away Monday April 4, 2022.

Wayne was a member of the Church of Christ and worked in Nursery and an Iron Worker

He was born February 15, 1951 to his parents, the late Ray Donald Cantrell and Leotra and Thaniel Cantrell. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brother, Kenneth Cantrell.

He is survived by his son, Ray (Sonya) Cantrell of McMinnville; daughter, Betsy Hildreth of Kentucky; grandchildren, Maddie, Bella and Brett Cantrell; brother, Donald Eral (Tammy) Cantrell of Smithvilleseveral Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins also survive.

Funeral service was held Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale officiating and burial followed in DeKalb Memorial Gardens.

DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. 

Pallbearers included Brett Cantrell, Dwayne Foster, Ricky Murphy, Rusell Norton, Donald Cantrell, and Ray Cantrell.
