Funeral services for Doris Williams of Smithville, 67, were held Nov. 3, at the chapel of DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Bro. Dan Gulley and Bro. Tim Woodward officiated with burial at DeKalb Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Williams passed away Nov. 1 at her residence.
She was a florist, homemaker and a member of the Smithville Church of Christ.
She was the daughter of the late Sam Houston Hendrixson and Nina Alexander Hendrixson.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Brown and Maggie Alexander and Tom and Sarah Hendrixson; brother-in-law, Roy Williams; sister-in-law, Marie Rucker.
Doris is survived by her husband of 42 years, John Williams of Smithville; mother, Nina Alexander Hendrixson of Smithville; sister, Donna Hendrixson and fiance Terry Mahle of Smithville; niece, Lavanda (John) Baker of Mcminnville; great-nephew, Wesley Houston Tatrow of McMinnville; brother-in-law, Brownie (Ann) Williams of gordonsville; sister-in-law, Louise Sweeney of Hartsville; special friend, Carolyn Adcock.
Pallbearers included Charles Williams, Jimmy Williams, Wesley Tatrow, John Baker, Woody Adcock, Billy Willingham, Kenneth Warrick, Danny Tatrow and Terry Mahle.
DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of arrangements.
