Dr. Victor Karl Phillips, age 84, of the Short Mountain community, passed away Tuesday night October 8, 2024, at his residence.

Dr. Phillips was a Clinical Psychologist for 30 years.

He was born April 6, 1940, to his parents the late James Patton and Evelyn Hutchison Phillips.

He is survived by two sons, Dr. Jonathan Lokey of Greenville, SC, and Nikoli Lokey of Demorest, Georgia; two fur girls, Mae and Jill; sister, Tina Kirkpatrick of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; friends and neighbors also survived. 

Burial for Dr. Phillips was held Thursday, October 10, 2024, on his farm.

Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in memory of Dr. Phillips.

DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
