Funeral services for Ella Dean Vanatta of Smithville, 78, were held Nov. 3, at the chapel of DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Bro. Micheal Hale officiated with burial to follow at Snow Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Vanatta passed away Oct.31 at NHC Healthcare.
Mrs. Vanatta was a retired factory worker and attended New West Point Baptist Church.
Mrs. Vanatta was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and O’fallen Pinegar; husband, Eugene Vanatta; son, Larry Vanatta; brother, Loyd Young.
She is survived by three children, Debbie McClain of Smithville; KennethVanatta of Smithville and David Vanatta of Murfreesboro; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive.
Pallbearers; Ricky McClain, Dalton Ashford, David Vanatta, Mack Adcock, John Bracken and Phillip Hendrixson.
DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of arrangements.
