Funeral services for Frankie Hendrix Taylor, 80, of Dowelltown, were held Jan. 4 at the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Burial services were held in Snow Hill Methodist Cemetery.
Mrs. Taylor passed away Jan. 2 in DeKalb Community Hospital. She worked at Kingston Timers and was of the Methodist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Taylor; parents, Frank and Connie Pack Hendrix; a son, Donnie Taylor; a grandchild, Tabitha Young; a brother, George and Wilma Hendrix; half brothers, Shelton (Shag) Hendrixson, Woodrow Hendrixson, Oliver (Man) Hendrix, Delton Hendrixson, Loycee Hendrixson; and half sisters, Martha Fisher and Odean Arnold.
Survivors include her two daughters, Regena Taylor and special friend, Jim, Vaughn, both of Smithville, and Cindy Malone of Temperance Hall; a son, Ricky (Ann) Taylor of Dowelltown; four grandchildren, Carla (Lee) Mick of Smithville, Bradley Malone and fiancé, Rachel Baker, both of Temperance Hall, Jason (Marie) Taylor, both of Alexandria, Aaron (Paula) Taylor, both of Dowelltown; seven great-grandchildren, Chase Belcher of McMinnville, Kristin Mick of Smithville, Kristen Smartt of Dowelltown, Reagan Taylor of Alexandria, Caleb Taylor of Alexandria, and Peyton Taylor of Dowelltown; a great-great-grandchild, Tyler Belcher of Smithville; a sister, Jimmie Mullican of Smithville; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers included Jason and Aaron Taylor, Bradley Malone, Jim Vaughn, Lee Mick and Dall Ball.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
