Funeral services for Gordon Eugene Hennessee, 75, of McMinnville were held Feb. 7, at the chapel of High Funeral Home, McMinnville. Stan Stevenson officiated with burial following at Mt. View Cemetery.
Mr. Hennessee passed away Feb. 4 at his residence from a sudden illness. He was a retired salesman of Avalon Dairies, Frito-Lay and Life of Georgia Insurance Company and was affiliated with Arlington Church of Christ. He also served in the U.S. Army, was a member of the Military Grave Rites, VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173.
He was preceded in death by his parents Hobert and Iris Craig Hennessee and sister Peggy Joann Hennessee.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years Reba Nell Jones Hennessee of McMinnville; four children and spouses, Karan and Kerry Crowe of Bristow, Va., Brad and Renee Hennessee of Smithville, Kevin Hennessee and Heather Culbreath of Smryna and Stacy and Amanda Hennessee of McMinnville; six grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law Dean Edge of Smithville; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Winston and Nellie Jones of the Dibrell community; and several nieces and nephews.
High Funeral Home, McMinnville,  was in charge of the arrangements.
