Funeral services for Paul Bryan Grandstaff, 77, of Watertown were held July 24 at Hunter Funeral home. Bro. Robert Amason and Bro. Kenneth Bowen officiated with burial following with military honors at Jones Hill Cemetery.

 

He passed away July 21 at his residence.

 

Born in Sykes, TN, he was the son of the late Clyde Lelon Grandstaff and Ruby Lee Jones Grandstaff.

 

He was a graduate of Gordonsville High School and a US Navy veteran, Paul and his family operated the Watertown CeeBee Grocery for several years and he was a police officer for 26 years.

 

Paul is survived by his wife, Iva Roberts Grandstaff; daughter, Tonya Blanks; son, Michael Grandstaff all of Watertown; grandchildren Kiana and Shawn Blanks; step-grandchildren, Tiphanie and Chelsie Poss; step great-granddaughter, Kylee; sister, Laverne Martin and husband, Freddy of Alexandria; nephew, Jason (Resa) Martin of Murfreesboro; nieces, Trena Gassaway of Dickson and Dana Christine Martin of Alexandria.

 

Pallbearers included; James Ivy Willis, Tony Parsley, Jerry Taylor, Jeff Taylor, Jimmy Allmon, Jason Dodd, Ronnie Jackson, and David Agee.

 

Honorary Pallbearers included; Glenn and Ricky Oakley, Hank Dunlin, Howell Roberts, J.T. Webster, James Ray Moore, Gene Sykes, Bernie Ash, Tom Wiley, Jack Underhill, Odell Judkins.

 

Hunter Funeral Home, Watertown Tenn., was in charge of the arrangements
