Harold Tomlin, age 77, of Smithville, passed away Friday, July 21, 2023, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. 

He retired from Safety Clean after 22 years and attended the Church of Christ.  Harold loved to travel.  He was always upbeat, happy and gave 110% in all he did.  He will be missed by all who knew him. 

He was born December 1, 1946, to his parents, the late James and Charlene Kemp Tomlin.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Harry Tomlin and sister, Bernice Parker. 

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 23 years, Angelika Tomlin of Smithville; son, Christopher Tomlin of Hendersonville; stepdaughter, Tanya Garvin of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Brayden Tomlin and Hannah Garvin both of Murfreesboro; great-grandchildren, Deytin, Reni, Rori and Vanna all of Murfreesboro and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral service was held Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale officiating and burial followed in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. 

Pallbearers included Jason Parker, Jackie Parker, Kevin Gulder, Donnie Gulder, Greg Tomlin, and Ronnie Clouse.

DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
