Mrs. Hellen Patricia Davis Fogelsong, age 81, of Sparta passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Ascension St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital.

She was retired from Ford Motor Company.

Mrs. Fogelsong was born on May 21, 1941 in Liberty to her late parents, Elijah Davis and Willie Louise Evans Miller. She was also preceded in death by her parents as well as 1 daughter, Athena Jean Wittington; one brother, Houston "Bob" Davis; and five sisters, Robbie Anderson, Leona  Owens, Jesse Slory, Mildrid Davis, and Lorine Burgess.

The family has honored her wishes of cremation. 

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, William Fogelsong of Sparta; 1 son, Kevin (Tonya) Fogelsong of Manchester, Michigan; 1 daughter, Lea (Jeff) Sinkler of Mancelona, Michigan; grandchildren, Sunny June Fogelsong, Kevin James Fogelsong Jr., Taylor James Samek, Alexis Whittington, Calvin Whittington, Ronald Heinz Szeve, Jade Szeve, Hollie Sinkler, Paige Widrig, Johnny McCleese; great-grandchildren, Savanna Sheeks, Lawrence Aikins, Peyton Fogelsong, Haley Fogelsong, Ronald Szeve II, and Violet Sinkler Poli; 2 sisters, Iness (Jose) DeLeon and W.T. Street both of Smithville.

The family has honored her wishes of cremation.
