Howard Earl Mayberry, 56, of Smithville passed away April 30 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
He was a former maintenance technician, U.S. Marine Veteran serving 13 years, and affliated with the Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Earl Mayberry.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Mayberry of Smithville; two sons, Matthew (Morgan) Mayberry of Arizona, and Mark Mayberry of South Carolina; one daughter, Jessica (Travis) Fannin of South Carolina; three step-children, Tina (Daniel) Hoxie of South Carolina, Allison (Barry) Pryor of California, and James Teuteberg of Smithville; six grandchildren; mother, Joyce R. Johnson Mayberry of Smithville; one sister, Patricia (Terry) Fisher of Tennessee; one brother, Edward (Renee) Mayberry of North Carolina.
The family has chosen cremation. A celebration of life service will be held at a later time.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of arrangements.
