Hale

Funeral service for James E. Hale, age 75, of Liberty was held February 15, 218 at Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria. Wilson Williams and Charlie Stanton officiated with burial following in Hale Cemetery.

James passed away February 13, 2018 at St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital. He was a mechanic at Paschal Farm Equipment and Paschal Farms for 57 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Hale and Nonnie Cleo Bogle; infant brother, John B. Hale; son, Jamie Carl Hale; sister, Annie Lou Bogle; and a nephew, Greg Bogle.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Shirley Hale of Liberty; daughter, Glenda and Jeff Curtis of Alexandria; granddaughter, Savannah Curtis of Alexandria; brothers-in-law, Tommy Bogle of Liberty and David and Sandra Bain of Smithville; sisters-in-law, Carolyn and Jerry Braswell of Dibrell and Mary Bain of Woodbury’ uncle, Vernon Lee and Sue Bogle of Woodbury; special friends, Bobby Robinson and the Paschal Family.

Anderson Funeral Home, Alexandria, was in charge of the arrangements.
