James Larry Taylor, age 72, passed away Monday July 12, 2021 at St. Thomas Hospital West in Nashville. 

 He was born October 30, 1948 to his parents, the late James Paul and Earlene Pittman Taylor.  He was a computer engineer, U.S. Army Veteran retired from Army National Guard and loved bowling. 

 Survivors include daughter, Shannon Taylor of Nashville, son, Randy Peterson of Nashville; grandson, Kye Taylor Peterson; mother, of his children: Janice Clement of Nashville. Several cousins also survive. 

 Burial was held Monday, July 19, 2021 in the Middle TN Veterans Cemetery in Nashville. 

 DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
