Funeral services for Jannie Bell Higgins, 70, of Madison were held Jan. 5 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Bro. Wilson Williams officiated with burial following at Milton Cemetery.
Mrs. Higgins passed away Jan. 2 at Alive Hospice in Nashville. She was the owner of a hair and nail salon and affiliated with the Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Florence Goode Lorance and husband Robert Higgins.
Survivors include her brothers-in-law Tony (Diane) Higgins of Alexandria, Jerry (Harriett) Higgins of Whitehouse, Carl (Diane) Higgins of Nashville, Donald Higgins of Dickson, James Higgins of Dickson, Charles (Eleanor) Higgins of Jacksonville, Fla.; and special friends Mary Hunter of Nashville and Wilson and Lois Williams of Liberty.
DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville,  was in charge of the arrangements.
