Jeremy Wayne Hallum, age 45, of Smithville passed away Monday night April 4, 2022 at St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital in Smithville.
Jeremy was a truck driver and attended Friendship The Baptist Church.
He was born September 6, 1976 to his parents, Phyllis Mai Cantrell Hallum and the late Larry Wayne Hallum. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by Maternal Grandfather: Elmus "Tot" Cantrell; Paternal Grandparents: Leonard & Edmonda Hallum.
Survivors include two son, Wesley Hallum, Peyton Hallum both of Smithville; mother, Phyllis Hallum of Smithville; sister, Stephanie Crabtree of Woodbury; maternal grandmother, Gladys Cantrell of Smithville; nephews, Conner and Trey Crabtree; aunt, Suzanne (Bill) Gash of Smithville; Several cousins also survive.
The family ask that donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
Graveside service and interment was held Thursday, April 7, 2022 at DeKalb Memorial Gardens with Bro. Michael Hale officiating.
Pallbearers included Nathan Cook, Shane Cook, Cory Bradford, Paul Talley, Conner Crabtree, Trey Crabtree, Cory Crabtree, and Butch Cantrell.
