Jerry Arlen Cripps, age 92, of Alexandria passed away at his residence Sunday night, January 12, 2025.
Mr. Cripps was a member of the Snow Hill Baptist Church, retired from Gensco and was a Gideon.
He was born February 20, 1932, to his parents the late Benny Cripps and Gladys Herdon Cripps Jackson.
He is survived by his loving wife of 75 years, Annette Cripps of Alexandria; nieces, Martha (Pam) Bass of Alexandria, Jeanie (Jerry) Pack, of McMinnville, and Ramona Fuson of Dowelltown; nephew, Benjamin Cripps; numerous other nieces and nephews also survive; brother, Robert (Faye) Cripps of Mt. Juliet.
Funeral services was held Friday January 17, 2025, at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale officiating and burial followed in Salem Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jerry Farler, James Pack, Keith Farler, Marshall Farler, Thomas Lee Osborne Jr., and Nathan Russell Wilson.
Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in memory of Mr. Cripps.
DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
