Jessica Renee Owen, age 43, of Smithville passed away Saturday March 6, 2021 at her residence.

 She was affiliated with the Freewill Baptist Church and worked at Model City for many years.

 She was born January 4, 1978 to her parents James Owen and the late Cheryl Lynn Owen. 

 Miss Owen is survived by her father, James Owen of Smithville; one sister, Ashley Nichole Owen of Smithville; one brother, James Lynn (Jennifer) Owen of Smithville; niece, Haylea Owen; nephews, Christian and Colton Owen.

 Graveside service was held Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at DeKalb Cemetery with Bro. Michael Hale officiating. 

 Family and friends served as pallbearers.

 The family asked that donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses, in memory of Jessica.  

 DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of arrangements.
