Joanne Julia Schultz, age 90, of Alexandria, TN passed away on December 19, 2023.

She was born January 21, 1933 in Dedham, WI, and went on to live in eight different states as well as Morocco, Africa.

She loved YHWH (the Hebrew name for God) and her many friends and family. She enjoyed gardening, feeding the birds, and baking the best cookies, biscuits, and cinnamon rolls, which she always shared with others. Her motto was: “I bake because punching people is frowned upon!” She spent the last year of her life connecting with distant family and even traveled to Minnesota to meet her three newest great-grandbabies.

Joanne was preceded by her husband, Bud; her parents, James and Mary Larsen; four siblings Howard, Roger, Ruth, and Marylou; and her youngest daughter, Rennette.

She is survived by one brother, James Larsen; two children, JoVonne and Brian; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

The family plans to gather in the Spring to scatter her ashes.

The Neptune Society, Brentwood, was in charge of the arrangements.
