Graveside services for Kenneth Melvin Johnson, 76, of Smithville were held Aug. 24 at DeKalb Memorial Gardens.

He passed away Aug. 22 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville.

He was a retired butcher and a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by a son, Benny Johnson; parents, Lonnie and Gladys Johnson; brother, Leamon Johnson.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mildred Adcock Johnson, one daughter, Greta and Mike Adcock; two sons, Kenny and Anthony Johnson both of Smithville; seven grandchildren, Adam and Gretchen Adcock of California, Matthew Adcock, Wayne (Billie) Johnson, Tony Johnson, Logan Johnson all of Smithville, Cody Johnson of Murfreesboro and Victoria Jonson of Rock Island.

Pallbearers included; Wayne Johnson, Cody Johnson, Matt Adcock, Danie Morris, Jayson Johnson, and Tony Jones.

Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, Tenn., was in charge of the arrangements.
