Kenneth George Milligan, age 77, of Smithville passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at his residence.
He was a bar and grill owner, served in the US Coast Guard, was a member of the Am Vets Post 101, American Legion and the V.A.V.S. He was a Catholic.
He was born May 1, 1947 in Chalmette, Louisiana, to his parents the late Kenneth and Anita Cecilia Maher Milligan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Vincent and three grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Vickey Milligan of Smithville; four daughters, Karen (Jeff) Hylton of Ohio, Robin Gilman of Louisiana, Bridgett Gilmore of Mississippi and Terika Faux of Smithville; son, Joshua (Tracy) Vincent of Smithville; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Linda Ferguson of Washington.
The family has honored Mr. Milligan's request to be cremated and a Memorial Service was conducted Monday, July 22, 2024, at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale officiating and Military Honors conducted by the Veterans Honor Guard.
DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
