Graveside services for Larry “Butch” Boling, 65, of Smithville, were held Jan. 10 at Hodges Cemetery with Bro. Larry Steffee officiating.    
Mr. Boling passed away Jan. 7 at his residence. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and Air Force, a carpenter, an owner of a store and affiliated with Bethel Baptist Church.  
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Zylpha Dewitt Boling; a brother, Rod Boling; and sisters, Darlene Partain and Doris Boling.
Survivors include his children, John Boling of Indiana and Annette Buss of North Carolina; and grandchildren, Allix, Jake and Derek Lasser, all of North Carolina.
DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
