Linda Kay Shehane Standridge, age 70, of Smithville passed away Monday evening, August 17, 2020 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital.
She was a member of the House of Prayer and worked at Pioneer Furniture for 25 years and Federal Mogul for 12 years.
She was born November 18, 1949 to her parents, the late Hoyte Shehane and Letha Pedigo Peters. In addition her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Jeremy; great-grandson, Caylix Johnson; two sisters, Joyce Ann Smither, Ruth Shehane; brothers, Billy Manning, Daniel Peters, and John Shehane.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence Standridge of Smithville; three children, Amanda Hamilton, Ginger Price and Richard Standridge all of Smithville; nine grandchildren, Lacie Hamilton, Trey Hamilton, Alex Standridge, Star Standridge, Bella Standridge, Jake Standridge, Heather Standridge, Chrystyan Tate, Kynsley Hamilton; great-grandchildren, Addison Hamilton, Brantley Johnson; three sisters, Eloise Power and Peggy Minnear both of Smithville and Lorraine Shehane of Lebanon; two aunts, Jessie Bell Johnson and Frances Bates; many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Funeral service was conducted Thursday, August 20, 2020 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Robert Burns officiating. Burial followed in Minnear Cemetery.
Pallbearers included Lee Barajas, Caleb Minn, Mark Smith, Dave Smith, Bryan Tate, Jason Sheppard, and Richard Standridge. Serving as honorary pallbearers were Wendell Bolden, and Teemus Eugene Minnear.
DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
