Funeral services for Lisa Herman Mingus, 46, of Smithville, were held June 2 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Bro. Michael Hale officiated with burial following in Bonham Cemetery.    
Ms. Mingus passed away May 31 at Alive Hospice in Nashville. She was a homemaker and affiliated with the Church of Jesus Christ.  
She was preceded in death by her father, Alford Kenneth Herman; mother, Thelma Jean Colwell; a brother, James Eddie “Shorty” Herman; and two nephews.
Survivors include her son, Michael Eugene (Amanda) Lattimore of Smithville; a granddaughter, Brooklyn Rochelle Lattimore of Lawrenceburg; a brother and sisters, Patricia (Jerry) Lawson of Smithville, Frances (Joel) Adcock of McMinnville, Kenneth Ray Herman of Smithville, Brenda (Stevie) Cripps of Smithville; 12 nieces and nephews; 19 great-nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Lonnie Estes of Smithville.
Pallbearers included Thomas George, Robbie Green, Joe Herman, Jimmy Herman, Mike Brown and Mark Ryan Stanley.
DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
