Funeral service for Lois Reeder Russell, age 53, of North Carolina was held January 14, 2018 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Bro. Michael Hale officiated with burial following in Whorton Springs Cemetery.

Lois was a native of DeKalb County. She passed away January 10, 2018 at her residence. She was a Baptist and a waitress. 

She was born August 30, 1965 to her parents, the late Paul and Mildred Hawkins Reeder. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry Reeder and Billy Reeder; one sister, Judy Reeder; special uncle, Robert Lee Reeder; and the father of her daughters, Dickie Rogers.
 
Lois is survived by her husband, Duane Russell of Dudley Shoals, NC; two daughters, Mary Rogers and Ashley Rogers, both of Lenoir, NC; one son, Christopher Russell of Dudley Shoals, NC; grandchildren, Zoey Davenport, Daisha Staples, Jakob Moulton, Malachi Lawrence and coming soon Wizdom Rogers; two sisters, Peggy George and Doris Henry, both of Smithville; one brother, Tommy Reeder of Smithville; and sister-in-law, Kathy Reeder of Smithville. 

Serving as pallbearers were Kevin Herman, Troy Rogers, Michael Brown, Jason George, John Turner and Lee Allen Turner.

DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
