Lorenea Evans, 77, of Smithville passed away Monday, June 5, 2017 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville.

She was a Christian.

The funeral was held Friday, June 9, 2017 at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Bonham Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Geneva Hall Morris and Granddaughter, Jennifer Garrett.

Survivors include her husband, Lawrence Evans of Smithville. Two sons, Garey and Beverly Evans and Glenn and Jenny Evans of Smithville. Two daughters, Gena and Dimitri Wotchinski of Montreal and Gayle and Michael Garrett of Indiana. Grandchildren, Bobbie Sue and Tim Wilson of Smithville, Jason and Maday Demick, Joe and Mercedes Demick, and Jasse and Desiree Demick all of Florida, Joyce Garrett and Justin Garrett of Indiana. Great grandchildren, Brooklynn, Nathaniel and Robert Brantley Wilson of Smithville, Jayden Garrett of Indiana and Jaxon and Braxton Demick of Florida. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins survive.

Pallbearers Michael Garrett, Tim Wilson, Brooklyn Wilson, Barry Turner, and Calvin Hullett.

Donations may be made to the Sarah Cannon Cancer Research Center.

Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, TN was in charge of the arrangements.
