Funeral services for Mae Elizabeth Lattimore, 71, of Smithville were held Dec. 30 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Bros. Bernard Houk, David Mahan and Junior Ellis officiated with burial following at DeKalb Cemetery.
Mrs. Lattimore passed away Dec. 27 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. She was retired from Kingston Timers and was a homemaker. She also attended Whorton Springs Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents Robert Shelly Shehane and Julia Mae Williams Shehane Johnson; son Brad Lattimore; brothers Robert, Maxie, Frank, Toy B., Hoyte and Ben Shehane; and sisters Willene Saylors and Lura Jean Reeder.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years James D. Lattimore of Smithville; Children Barbara (Harold) Burton, David Lattimore, Kathy (Roger) Bailey and Rick G. Lattimore, all of Smithville; six grandchildren Steve Mabe, Chis Burton, Rachel Anderson, Ashley Satterfield, Glen Lattimore and Jody Lattimore; great-grandchildren Heath, Lance, Jeran, Haden, Haylee, Jordan, Chloe and Jackson; a great-great-grandson Colton; sisters Jessie Bell Johnson, Mary Lattimore, Frances (Harlon) Bates and Aima Swafford, all of Smithville; host of nieces, nephews, friends and family; and dear friends Addie Dean Glen and Gwynn League. 
Pallbearers included Bug Reeder, Jason Satterfield, Billy Anderson, Scott Phipps, Carson Herron, Heath Mabe.
Serving as honorary pallbearers Lance Mabe, Glen Lattimore, Jody Lattimore, Jeran Burton and Haden Burton.
DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville,  was in charge of the arrangements.
