Funeral services for Mary Rebecca Pinegar, 85, of Smithville were held March 12 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Bro. Bobby Thomason and Bro. Mike Carpenter officiated with burial following at Whorton Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Pinegar passed away March 10 at NHC Healthcare Center in Smithville. She was a retired shirt factory worker, homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and America Adcock Luna; her husband, George Pinegar; and a granddaughter, Lisa Johnson.
Survivors include two children Frances (Larry) Johnson of Dowelltown and Kenneth (Freda) Pinegar of Smithville; a grandson David (Patricia) Johnson of Dowelltown; and four great-grandchildren Austin, Jacob, Luke and Gracie Johnson; and two sisters Grace Evans of Smithville and Nannie Gamble of South Pittsburgh.
Pallbearers included Austin Johnson, Tony Davis, Jesse Drury, Layne Mathis, Charles Martin and B.J. Thomason.
DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville,  was in charge of the arrangements.
