Funeral services for Mildred Williams, 89, of Smithville were held March 19 at the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Dan Gully officiated with burial following at DeKalb Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Williams passed away in the early morning of March 18 at NHC of Smithville. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Williams; parents Zollie Lee and Mina Cantrell Redmon; children Virginia Nokes and Johnny Williams; and two sisters Magdalene Thweatt and Gladys Adcock.
Survivors include her sister Jewel and Earnest Davis of McMinnville; brother-in-law Aubrey Williams of McMinnville; daughter-in-law Joannie Williams of Smithville; three grandchildren Charles and Christie Nokes of Cannon County, Amy and Patrick Cripps of Smithville, Shelli Williams of Smithville and Sherry Tusar of Smithville; and several nieces, nephew and great-granchildren.
Pallbearers included Charles and Justin Nokes, Patrick Cripps, Earnest Davis, Tracy Holland and Scott Bell.
Serving as honorary pallbearers were Albert and Farris Thweatt.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville,  was in charge of the arrangements.
