Mr. John Ford Puckett, age 66 of Manchester and formerly of Smithville passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at his home in Manchester.

Mr. Puckett was born on February 20, 1956 in Smithville to his parents, the late Luther Race and Miriam Magdalene Ford Puckett. Also preceding him in death was his brothers, Dr. Larry Puckett and Henry Puckett.

Mr. Puckett was a retired Iron Worker and attended the Smithville Church of Christ.

Survivors include three children, John Luther (Elizabeth) Puckett, Nikki (Brian) Roberts, Michael (Ladonna) Kellis all of Georgia; grandchildren, Bryan Kellis, John Nelson-Shropshire, Tyler Puckett, Danni Kellis, Marissa Davis, Dalton Davis and Logan Huckeba; sister-in-law, Nancy Puckett of Woodbury. 

Mr. Puckett’s wishes were that he be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later time. 

Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
