Mr. Joseph Elijah Parker, age 42, of Smithville passed away Thursday night, February 10, 2022 at his residence.
Mr. Parker was born on December 27, 1979 in Nashville to his parents, Jack and Walteen Carter Parker.
He was a self -employed photographer and was a member of Smithville First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his mother, Walteen Parker of Smithville; one sister, Jama Martin of Smithville; two brothers, Jim (Allison) Parker of Utah and John (Lisa) Parker of Smithville; grandmother, Bertha McBride of Smithville; special aunt, Billie Ann Parker of Nashville; and uncle, Joe (Cindy) Carter of Smithville. Several nieces, Nephews and a special cousin, Charlie Caplinger of Smithville also survive.
A private graveside service was held Sunday, Febrary 13, 2022 at DeKalb Memorial Gardens.
Donations can be made to the Smithville First Baptist Church Youth Group or to the Dekalb Animal Coalition in memory of Mr. Parker.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
