Mr. Robert Lloyd Farris, age 73, of Smithville passed away Thursday night at his residence.

He was retired from Star Mfg. and attended Peoples Pentecostal Church. 

He was born on February 23, 1950 in Smithville to his parents, Frank and Wilma Murphy Farris who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death was a stepson, Wayne Estes; one brother and four sisters. 

Survivors include his wife, Paula Stewart Farris; one brother, Jimmy (Rebecca) Farris; two step-children, Nisy Maynard and Nae Keaton; several nieces and nephews also survive. 

The family has chosen cremation to honor Mr. Farris's wishes. A memorial service was held on Friday, May 5 at Love-Cantrell Funeral Home and burial followed in Whorton Springs Cemetery. 

Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
