Mrs. Edna Luna Rhoton, affectionately known by family and close friends as Neve, age 89 of the Cassville Community, passed away Monday, July 12, 2021 at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville. 

Neve was born June 24, 1932 in White County to the late William Ernest and Lucille Turner Luna. She was retired from Wagner. Neve enjoyed working in her yard, always keeping her flowers and yard in immaculant condition. She liked watching television and scheduling her day around her favorite show, the Bold and the Beautiful. Neve loved spending time with her family and traveling. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband Verble J. "Bug" Rhoton who died June 29, 2005; five brothers, William Oakley, Guy, Jr., Charles McMillian, Leslie E. and B.K. Luna; sisters-in-law Joanne Luna and Alice Jane Luna; brother-in-law, Eddie Taylor; niece Guylene Luna Vinson.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm Thursday, July 15, 2021 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Plainview Cemetery in the Cassville Community. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5-7:00pm at Hunter Funeral Home. Patty Zornow and Chris Reagan will officiate.

Gary Luna, Chris Luna, Michael Luna, Stephen Luna, Tony Luna, Derrick Hutchings and Jacob Matthews will serve as pallbearers.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Hunter Funeral Home.
