Mrs. Leslie Anderson Patton Lackey, age 66, of Smithville passed away at her residence on Tuesday, August 1, 2023. She was a certified health coach and worshiped with World Outreach Church. God, music, the lake, entertaining friends and family, and her dogs are what made her the happiest. 

Leslie was born on January 19, 1957 in Grand Junction, Colorado to her parents Johnny Anderson and Jackie Anderson Piety, who preceded her in death. She later moved to Murfreesboro where she attended Oakland High School and MTSU. 

Survivors include her husband, Doug Lackey of Smithville; two daughters, Megan (Dominic) Rinaldi of Murfreesboro, and Lauren (Phil) Hocker of Brentwood; one son, Landon Lackey (Regina Koho) of Knoxville; four grandchildren, Adriana Rinaldi and Leo Rinaldi both of Murfreesboro, and Max Hocker and Reid Hocker both of Brentwood; two sisters, Debbi (Frank) Walton of KY, and Tia (Brian) Mock of FL; three sisters-in-law, Jennifer (Steve) Graham of OK, Terri Lackey (Bob Wyatt) of Chicago, and Becky Lackey (Jana Thomas) of Alabama; one brother-in-law, Jimmy (Phyllis) Lackey of Franklin; several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. 

The family has honored her wishes and chosen cremation.
