Mrs. Linda Carol Pursell, age 67, of Liberty passed away on Sunday evening, October 31, 2021 at TriStar Summit Medical Center.
She was a member of Salem Baptist Church and loved working in the yard in her flower garden, crafting, and antiques.
Linda was born on April 20, 1954 in Albany, KY to her parents, the late Andy and Zora Slaven. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Glen Slaven, Bruce Slaven, and Bobby Slaven.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Dale Pursell of Liberty; one son and daughter-in-law, Chris (Brandi) Pursell of Liberty; one grandson, Cameron Pursell of Liberty; one brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth "Dooks" (Lori) Slaven of Byrdstown; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Diane (Donnie) Fults of McMinnville, and Jewell (Max) Barney of Smithville; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Paul (Jean) Neal of Liberty, Dale (Marie) Malone of Mt. Juliet, and JT (Peggy) Pursell of Liberty
Funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Salem Baptist Church in Liberty with burial following in Salem Cemetery.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
