Mrs. Reba E. Page, age 91, of Smithville, Tennessee, passed peacefully surrounded by family from her earthly home into the arms of her Heavenly Father on July 7, 2021.
She was born to the late Thomas Walker and Lillie Mae Waggoner Moore on November 9, 1929 and was married to the late Roy Garland Page. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant sister (Ruby Moore), two brothers (David and Tommy Moore), and a daughter-in-law (Kathy Lawell Page).
Mrs. Page enjoyed working for seventeen years at Fuston’s Five and Dime Store and Fuston’s Antiques. During her work at the antique store, she loved learning about various kinds of antique collectibles and became skilled with identification and appraisal. She met people from all over traveling through Smithville as they stopped to shop at the antique store. She attended her home church, New West Point Free Will Baptist Church, faithfully every Sunday she was able. Her last day of attendance was Mother’s Day 2021, when she was recognized as the oldest mother. Above all else, she was a firm believer in God’s Word and encouraged every member of her family to have a relationship with the Lord through prayer and reading the Bible.
She is survived by six children and their spouses: Brenda (Steve) Rigney, Wayne (Diane) Page, Fran (Jimmy) Herndon, LaNell (Richard) Green, Roy Gene (Kathy) Page, and Carol (Dewain) Hendrixson. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren: Tara (John) Harper, James (April) Herndon, Christi (Rick) Root, Donnie Page, Sara (Torrey) Fulton, Matthew (Jennifer) Herndon, Oliver (Ashley) Green, Garland (Marjorie) Page, Rebecca (Neal) Hendrixson, Rachel Hendrixson, Grant Page, Caroline Green, Jeff Rigney, and Kendall Holland. Her great-grandchildren are Crockett Herndon, Abigail Baker, Holly Herndon, Kate Herndon, Garrett Fulton, Andrew Herndon, Grayson Fulton, Lily Root, and baby Green due in December. Her surviving siblings are Royce (Ruby) Moore, Jerry (Donna) Moore, Nina Hart, Earnest Moore, and Stacy Elouise Foster. She also has many special extended family members.
Graveside services were held at DeKalb Memorial Gardens on Saturday, July 10, 2021.
Serving as pallbearers were James Herndon, Donnie Page, Matthew Herndon, Oliver Green, Garland Page, and Grant Page. Granddaughters served as Honorary Pallbearers.
