Ms. Margaret Cecil Hibdon Williams, age 104, of Smithville  passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024 at NHC in Smithville.

She was a member of Banks Cumberland Presbyterian Church and a homemaker. 

Ms. Cecil was born on June 19, 1919 in Smithville to her parents, the late Luster and Mattie Bain Cantrell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Orvil Hibdon, and J.H. Williams; three brothers, Everett Cantrell, Ernest Cantrell, and Bill Cantrell; and two sisters, Hazel Hibdon, and Alice Davis. 

Survivors include three daughters, Patricia Beshearse of Smithville, Wanda Blair of Cookeville, and Lestel (Jack) Cantrell of Lebanon; one son, Rayburn (Brenda) Hibdon of Woodbury; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. 

Funeral service was held Thursday, January 23, 2024. Bro. Leonard Herman officiated and burial followed in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. 

Mike Hicks, Mark Warmbrod, Alex Fuctio, Marty Davis, Nick Pipper and TJ Boyd served as pallbearers.

Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
