Ms. Trena Michelle Murphy, age 54 of Smithville passed away Monday morning, February 14, 2022 at her residence. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 2pm from the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Bernard Houk will officiate and burial will follow at Bonham Cemetery

She was born on August 16, 1967 in Smithville to her parents, the late Jackie and Catherine Houk Ervin. She was a Freewill Baptist and was formerly an assembly line worker at Shiroki Manufacturing.

Survivors include two sons, Jeff (Leigh Ann) Whitefield of McMinnville and Jason (Savannah) Whitefield of Smithville; four grandchildren, Nancy Pease of Morrison, Jesse Whitefield of McMinnville, Addison Whitefield and Alexa Whitefield both of Smithville; three brothers, Ricky Ervin, Randall Ervin and Richard (Diane) Ervin all of Smithville.  Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. 

Funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Bernard Houk officiated and burial followed at Bonham Cemetery.

Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
