Ms. Vickie Mae Knowles, age 63, of Smithville passed away Saturday, October 22, 2022 at NHC Healthcare of Smithville.

She had worked at the Prospect Group Home and was a member of the Mt. View The Baptist Church. 

Ms. Vickie was born on May 6, 1959 in Nashville to her parents the late James Clifton and Reba Mae Poss Knowles. Also preceding her in death is a sister, Sandra Knowles. 

Survivors include her brother, Dwight (Donna) Knowles; niece, Shelly (Chad) Jennings; nephew, Jared (Karen) Knowles; great nieces and nephews, Hunter Jennings, Emma Jennings, Isaac Knowles and Katherine Knowles all of Smithville.  Special friend, Rita Young of Smithville,  special caregiver, Holly Bullard of Smithville and Special Friends and Staff at Prospect Group Home. 

Funeral Service was held on Monday, October 24, 2022 at Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Dennis Wood officiated and burial followed at Young Bend Cemetery.

Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
