Patricia Grace Thacker, age 79, of Murfreesboro, formerly of Chicago, IL., passed away October 19, 2023, at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital.

She was born March 20, 1944, to her parents, the late Woodrow Henry and Grace Frindell Kapell. Ms. Patricia was of the Lutheran Faith, a Factory Worker, and big fan of Elvis.

She is survived by three sons, William Louis Thacker of Cookeville, John Thacker of Manchester, and Steven Thacker of Chicago; grandchildren, Kendall Staszak, Johnny Thacker, and Daniela Thacker; several great-grandchildren also survive.

Graveside service and interment was held Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at DeKalb Cemetery and Bro. Michael Hale officiating.

DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
