Pattie Brown Johnson, age 83 of Liberty, passed away Saturday morning, May 18, 2019 at St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital. 

She was a member of Christ Pentecostal Church and enjoyed knitting and crocheting

She was born January 13, 1936 to her parents, the late John Robert and Bonnie Inez Martin Johnson.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, John, Frank, Bill, Samuel and Robert Estes; sisters, Ella Murphy, Ova Mathis, Jessie Bauman, Jean Alford and Lucille Brandon. 

Miss Johnson is survived by two sisters, Eula Presley of McMinnville and Christine Murphy of Smithville; one brother, Toy Lawson of Liberty and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral service was held Monday, May 20, 2019 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Billy Hale and Bro. Toy Lawson officiating. Burial followed in Salem Cemetery in Liberty. 

DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangement.
