Funeral services for Richard Ray Lockhart 77. of Smithville, were held Friday Sept. 6 at the chapel of Love Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Bill Robertson and George Story officiated with burial following at DeKalb Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Lockhart passed away at NHC of McMinnville. He was a retired business owner of Village Market. He belong to the Mason Lodge  #77 of Liberty, Shriners and  American Legions, he was a veteren with the US Air Force, and a member of Elizabeth Chapel Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by  his parents, Lorenzo and Hattie Billups Lockhart; wife, Frances Johnson Lockhart; step-son, Gus Johnson; three brothers, Howard, Edgar and George Lockhart; and sister, Ruth Lockhart.
Survivors include his son, Gene Lockhart of Smithville; step-sons,  Larry Johnson of Kentucky, Mike and Jeana Johnson of Lebanon;  grandchildren, Ashley Bogle of Smithville, Jay Lockhart of Woodbury, Melissa Muskopf and John Johnson both of Smithville, Nathan Johnson of Alexandria, Ben Johnson of Lebanon and Molly Johnson of Kentucky; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Wesley and Leveda Lockhart of  CA,  Buck and Mary Lockhart of OK; Bob and Margaret Lockhart of West VA; and Judy Lockhart of NC.
Pallbearers included Ben, Nathan, John, and Johnny Ray Johnson, Willie Moser and Johnny Pack.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
