Gesegnet

Rick Gesegnet, Jr., age 61, of Smithville passed away Tuesday night, March 13, 2018 at NHC HealthCare Center in Smithville.

He was born May 5, 1956 in Buffalo, NY to his parents, Patricia Ann Fekete and the late Richard Gesegnet, Sr.

He was a Vietnam U. S. Army, construction worker, member of the Smithville First Baptist Church and a lifetime member of the NRA.

He is survived by his wife, Becky Gesegnet of Smithville; two daughters, Joanne (Phillip) Gilley of Deer Lodge, TN and Christina (Patrick) Murphy of Smithville; six grandchildren; mother, Pat Fekete of Sarasota, FL and one brother, Daniel Gesegnet of Sarasota, FL.

Rick's request was to be cremated and a Memorial Service was held Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Smithville First Baptist Church with Bro. Chad Ramsey officiating.

DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
