Mr. Ronnie Morgan Hale, age 64 of Smithville passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at Tri Star Centennial Medical Center.

Ronnie was born on November 11, 1955 in Smithville to his parents, the late Monnie Otis and Nannie Mae Caldwell Hale. He was of the Baptist faith and was retired from Bridgestone.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Pirtle Hale of Smithville; son, Matt and Jennifer Hale of Alabama; daughter, Amy Hale of Nevada; three grandchildren,  Michael Caldwell of Smithville, Christopher Caldwell of Smithville, and Fritz Balongaro of Alabama; four brothers,  Monnie Hale of Florida, Lonnie and Louise Hale of Smithville, Morris and Diane Hale of Florida, Jeff and Tonya Hale of Smithville; father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Ruth Pirtle of Smithville; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Danny, Sr. and Melissa Pirtle of Smithville. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. Loving pets, Amos and Barkeley.

In accordance with the Governors Executive Order Number 30 regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, it strongly recommends the continuation of private family services. There was no public visitation held at the funeral home. A Private funeral service for the family was held on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at Love-Cantrell Funeral Home with burial following at Friendship Christian Cemetery in Warren County. Bro. Bernard Houk will officiate.

Serving as pallbearers were Monnie, Lonnie, Jeff, and Jamie Hale, Chris Caldwell, and Stewart Little.

Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of arrangements.
