Sue Reeder Wheeler, age 70, of Smithville went home to be with the Lord on Thursday night, December 22, 2022 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. 

 

Sue was a retired factory worker and a member of the Smithville First Freewill Baptist Church. 

 

She was born June 11, 1952 to her parents, the late Alvie Allen and Lura Jean Shehane Reeder.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eudean Wheeler, two sons, Donnie Lane and Lonnie Lynn Wheeler; nine siblings, Johnny, Ed, Ricky, Timmy, Dennis, David, Jerry and Stevie Reeder and Janice Johnson. 

 

She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter, Amy (Dave) Lowrance of Austin, Texas; grandchildren, Brittany Wheeler, Tiffany Cota, Austin Lowrance, Shawnee Lowrance, Isabella Lowrance, Kyra Lowrance, and Harley Wheeler; great-grandchildren, Christopher and Jasmine Gallegos and Grabriella Williams; two brothers, Bug Reeder and Tony Reeder both of Smithville; two sisters, Peggy (Dan) Parks of Kingston, NH and Lisa Vice of Smithville and several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. 

 

Funeral service was held Thursday, December 29, 2022 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bros. Bernard Houk and Michael Hale officiating and burial followed in DeKalb Cemetery. 

Pallbearer included James Lee Johnson, Ronnie Lattimore, Hulie Reeder, David Martin, Jed Goodman, and David Thomas.

 

DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
