Tavis Brown Foster was born November 16, 1965 in Morris, IL the son of Stacy Elouise Moore Foster and the late Jimmy Foster.

He was united in marriage to Mauri Mashburn on July 8, 1994.

Tavis worked for Linkous Construction for 20 years. His relationship with his co-workers was more than work, it was his second family. He was an avid fisherman and golfer. He enjoyed fishing the Pickwick area.

Tavis was a man of strong faith and loved the Lord. He was dedicated and devoted to his family - a loving father and Paw Paw.

Mr. Foster departed this life on September 27, 2021 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 55 Years, 10 Months, 11 Days.

He is survived by his wife Mauri  Foster of Bethel Springs, TN; his mother, Stacy Elouise Foster of Smithville, TN; his children, Ryan Foster and wife Katelyn of Coal City, IL, Anthony Pogliano and wife Amanda of Coal City, IL, Brandon Foster and wife Jennifer of Freeport, FL, Savannah Henry and husband Tyler of Fairbanks, AK,  Zachary Foster of Bethel Springs, TN; a sister, Gloria Austin and husband Chuck; two brothers, Jim Joe Foster and wife Terinia, Titus Foster and wife Dana; grandchildren, Oliver, Brayden, Jaxon, Huxlee, Roxzen, Liam, Logan, Annabella, Lukas and Scarlett Grace ; in-laws, Larry and Judi Mashburn of Bethel Springs, TN.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children Research Hospital.

Memorial services was held on October 9, 2021 First Baptist Church-Bethel Springs in Bethel Springs, Tennessee, with Bro. Ben Martin officiating.

Shackelford Funeral Directors, Tennessee was in charge of the arrangements.
