Funeral services for Annie Lee Taylor, 88, of Smithville were held April 15 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Bro. Michael Hale officiated, with burial following in Keith Cemetery.

 

Ms. Taylor was born January 27, 1926 to the late Benjamin Franklin and Emma P. Thomason Wilkins.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Taylor; two children, Sally Judkins and Linda Sue Summers; three sons-in-law, Aaron Pedigo, Don Judkins, Bill Phillips; 10 brothers and sisters, George Wilkins, Laura Brymer, Bill Wilkins, Brunetta Berzins, Joe Wilkins, Mount Wilkins, Dollie Watson, Buelah Wilkins, Jessie Holcomb, Lonnie Wilkins; one great-grandchild, Star Lindsey Palamo.

 

She was a homemaker and a Baptist.

 

She is survived by two children, Freeda Phillips of Dowelltown, Ray (Teresa) Robinson of Smithville; son-in-law, Bobby Summers of Smithville; 10 grandchildren, David Pedigo, Brenda Dildine, Cheryl Perkins, Samantha Baines, Becky Atnip, Richard Summers, Susan Lanier, Diane Summers, Linda Gail Oliver, Cindy Thomas; sister, Nonnie (Larry) Smith of Iowa; two sisters-in-law, Rena Wilkins of Alabama and Marie Wilkins of Smithville.

 

Pallbearers included; Dustin Pedigo, Frankie Lanier, Richard Summers, Allen Wilkins, Matthew Wilkins, and Larry Shehane.

 

DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, Tenn., was in charge of the arrangements.
