Funeral services for Terry Wayne “Tutor” Kent, 56, of Alexandria were held Dec. 13, at Hunter Funeral Home. Bro. Steve Mayle  officiated with burial following at  Prosperity Cemetery.
Mr. Kent passed away Dec.10 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
He was the son of the late C.E. and Iva Dell Johnson Kent.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Faye Kent and brothers; Mike and Jerry Kent.
He was a graduate of DeKalb Co. High School and was employed as a painter. he was a member of Liberty Hill Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Hall Kent of Alexandria; son, Jeremy Kent of Watertown; sisters, Linda Farmer and husband., William and Shirley Lowe and husband Bob all of Lebanon; sisters-in-law, Lynn and Regina Kent; nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers included; Kevin and Tyler Kent, Matt Reynolds, Jim Moss, Jeff Snyder, Terry Clark.
Honorary pallbearers; Creed Clifton, Mark Willoughby, George Allen, John Reynolds, Donnie Hamilton.
Hunter Funeral Home, Watertown, was in charge of arrangements.
